I am reorganizing and updating my sketch pages. Some of the old sketch pages were just too huge, chaotic, messy, and disharmonic- which is goddamned !@#$%^&*ing too a word, Firefox, you illiterate asshole.
As a growing artist, I learned a lot from this! I really like the way you shaded the dog on the bottom of the page, and the protruding muscles on the horse in the top right. I picked up a lot of techniques and ideas from checking these sketches out. Please post more sketches in the future, they're really wonderful and fun to study. c:
I tend to sketch when I'm bored and theres paper. usually on grocery lists *lol* So its a good idea to stick a tiny sketchpad and pencil in your pocket. makes waiting in lines and on buses much more fun. When I was in school my notes would have these long obsessively detailed illumination borders... and go figure, it saved my grade a couple times (geometry)
Thanks. I do not sketch very often. I struggle to turn out good sketches. Dunno why. I've always been that way. Much better at drawing and painting than sketching. I know I should do it more often. Tis good practice.
