Portrait practice. Next in line: Alyson Hannigan (Willow), Kate Winslet (Rose Dewitt Bukater) Leonardo di Caprio (Jack) (No I did not particularly like Titanic but they were both painfully on-fire smoking hot hot hot hot hot in that movie) Jensen Ackles (Dean Winchester), Jared Padalecki (Sam Winchester), Morena Baccarin (Inara), my girlfriend, myself, and maybe a few others if I can find the time. It's fun, cathartic, and good practice. Also a good excuse to break out the traditional paints. Only three of these were traditional and I ended up going over them in Photoshop anyway but hey, it was fun and I was without computer for a week so it's not like I had much of a choice. XC
Next I will try water colors. Hhheeeeeeee. :3 And for the record, I've actually started warming up to painting on canvas over the past few AGONIZING days without my computer.
As for this particular subject, I'm not going to make up some artsy sounding bullshit about why I painted Dylan O'brien. I don't have a good excuse. He's just !@#$%^&*ing #$%^damn attractive. That simple. Although he also has a great personalty.... and he's adorable and spazzy. Yeah, I might have a slightly age-inappropriate crush on this little twink who's like 8 years younger than me. *double-facepalm*
